Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds and cancellations depend on order status, vendor acceptance, item preparation, delivery assignment, payment confirmation, and applicable marketplace rules.

Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation before the vendor starts preparing or packing the order. Once items are packed, picked up, or out for delivery, cancellation may be limited unless there is a valid issue.

Failed payments

If payment is debited but the order is not confirmed, UrbanCart or the payment provider will verify the transaction. Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method as per payment gateway timelines.

Refunds

Refunds may be issued for eligible cancellations, unavailable items, duplicate payments, damaged/wrong items, or service issues after review. Refund timelines depend on the payment provider and bank.

Non-refundable cases

Refunds may be declined if the customer provided an incorrect address, was unavailable for delivery, rejected a correct order without valid reason, or raised a claim after unreasonable delay.
